A wander through the pictures here will show the occasional French car and a lot of Brit stuff that your dads and granddads had the pleasure of being acquainted with. :)

It sort of makes the 'Jeeps are bullet proof' statement redundant. :)

A stance is how you stand and position yourself. We use the term in karate a great deal... In karate we have may stances for different purposes... Front, back, cat, horse-riding and so on... One famous one for all the wrong reasons is the crane stance in the 'Karate Kid' film..

I see the connection to cars quite clearly...

Can anyone identify a car just from its radio? I suspect the answer is going to be yes!

History
This Yacco Traction Avant was built by a keen marque enthusiasts between 1980 and 2007. They took inspiration from the unique association between Yacco and Citroen, a relationship which cemented the oil company’s reputation for producing “the oil of world records”. Our Traction Avant features unique components such as its tailor made fuel tank and the compact seats, which originally belonged to an Alouette II helicopter. But the devil is in the detail, with perforated parts in the engine bay demonstrating the lengths gone to fulfil the owner’s sporting vision. Attractively presented in good working order and is dirt track-ready. This is a unique car with a fascinating history, and we hope that you like her as much as we do.

......the radio only clue bit of a five spanner job?

Its a Becker Monte Carlo TG

German as they come, in a spartan metal dashboard, it can only be a Volkswagen Beetle. Wolfsburg crest in the middle of the steering wheel to confirm, available from Cyprus for 7,500 euros.

Just round the back were a couple of cars, in the sort of state whereby you would think those two are never going to run again, A Citroen DS, and an NSU RO 80.

Bit more on the bus, although it looks a bit of an excursion coach than your normal service bus. Looks 50's to early 1960's to me. The grill is missing of course which may well have had a distinctive shape to give it away.

This isn't it but is a 1956 SB Bedford Duple Vega, and is of a similar style likely to be a similar era
