I generally swat double posts unless attention has been called to them as here, as that would make nonsense of the thread after them.

2CV spotted turning into Bradwell Common today at lunchtime, was quite modified with lots of extra carrying space etc, looked like it was on an international expidition! Gave a flash and cheery wave (was in the Xantia) but didn't notice any response.

Really want to get my other half out for a run in a 2CV one day as they are such a unique experience that it's hard to explain in words. Having said that I've not discounted the idea of owning one one day...

Regarding double posts, doesn't seem to happen here but over on UKSaabs my phone seems to cause a double post at least 30% of the time when I hit submit, it's really annoying.

Two spots this morning when getting the morning newspaper.

Followed a black C5x7 Tourer Shepton-Frome road and then this at the lights:

Lovely :D I adore Jensen Interceptors with a great passion. Reason for breaking down was likely ran out of petrol! They were well thirsty old beasts... Yank V8 not good in that respect...

Spotted a Princess Anne car on Saturday evening, a Reliant Scimitar. A car I've always fancied owning but the horrid old Ford V6 boat anchor of an engine always puts me off..

Jenson was as cool a design as any Citroen, and as fickle :)

Somewhat faded red 2CV van spotted today just off the A5 roundabout heading towards the City Centre. Certainly not seen it before.

On the 11th I saw a nice looking black (or dark blue) 'L' reg Xantia hatchback, and then, in the same area (Harrow/Ruislip) I saw a 1973 Lotus Elan 2 (blue body, silver roof).

I know that it was not French, but it was a rare beast. Not in showroom condition, but it was regularly used (and, by that, the owner meant several times a month, and (in good weather) it was the daily drive). Nice chat, while he was sorting out the carburettor.

Saw a shiny black Traction Avant which had pulled in next to this old garage purely for the driver to take a few arty photographs!

Now for the purist it may well have been an English Light Twelve, Light Fifteen, Big Fifteen, or Big Six straight out of Slough and RHD.
