May I enquire on which specific models of Mintex pads and Brembo vented disks you got?

Standard road pads and V6 callipers & disks ,vented type. Standard fit on my car.

Measure your disks and check.....some cars have the large type fitted as standard, all cars can have the larger type fitted. Many have been upgraded.
I have a set of callipers if you need them.

You must drive like me Sticky. I rarely use the brakes, lift off approaching the corners, then gently on the throttle in the corner. It's easy in the activa, just go everywhere at 60! Never slow down, mine goes round every corner on the roads I'm usually on at 60. Unless there are people in lesser cars, eg audis and beamers slowing down cos they are scared [emoji12] [emoji13] [emoji23]

60 ??....hahaha

But yes, drive it like a GT car....smooth and steady. I was taught that very early on in my driving life. It is why I like torque in an engine more than revs.

Can't beat the torque. Far better than frantic high revving small multi valve petrol units.

Depends on the car really.....the C5, the Xantia and my Healey are all quite heavy really so torque is needed.
All the cars I have liked in the past have been as well for some reason, my old SAAB 900t's ect were , even the Beetles were vrs Mini's ect.

I never got totally comfortable in the Lancia Inter Evo I has for a short while either, also the Calibra Turbo, the exception to that was a Lancia Fulvia which I still wish I had today, just a fantastic little thing.

I prefer a bigger heavier car for out of town cruising. The 107 is good around town, as long as you use the accelerator pedal as an on off switch lol. Not how I like to treat a car, but it's what it needs to go!

Should be added that the 288mm bosch calipers can't be fitted to 283 or 266 hubs as far as i'm aware.

So....New tyres all fitted and out today on the car. What a differance , more grip, stiffer in the corners....I like these tyres :)

Also fitted Xtreme White Zenon gas bulbs....will try those later tonight. I Fitted all 6 forward lamps with them as I scored an EBay bulk buy of 10x.

And my rear view mirror FELL OFF :) !............so I took the opportunity to fix it right up high on the screen to improve cross car visibility at round-abouts/inclines ect.

What? down your way? You sure?

Mind you, the railwaymen did used to call your neck of the woods 'Siberia' back in the days before Beeching wielded his axe...
