Diameter on Radiator main hoses ?

In my infinite ignorance I left the scene of the crime without taking measures of the hoses for my Radiator.

I bought a new Rad for my Activa and ofc it was the wrong one.
Being a tiny bit stubborn I've decided to try to make it fit. To do so I need the inner diameter of the main hoses so I can fabricate transition/link/coupling from the original to the new.
I will remove the bayonet fittings from the hoses on the car.

So . . anyone by the luck of the Irish have the info I need ?

And is brass preferable to aluminum when I make the piece. ?

Why not, as long as it bends without getting narrow ?

Silicon hoses can be made with metal parts for the bends as well.
