A BIG thank you to Stickyfinger

Post by Xantic »

As the title says a very very big thank you to Stickyfinger,(aka Ayrton Senna) I will explain that part now.

Made plans to meet Alasdair today at his house and he took me to see a C5 Exclusive near Ringwood.

After a coffee we set off, Cut a long story short we viewed the C5, test drove it and it now lives in South Wales.
Very pleased with my purchase, at last an auto diesel with electric leather and only 96k on the clock.

Cambelt been done so has the DPF been topped up amongst other things.

Now to the Ayrton Senna bit.

I had a ride in Stickyfingers Activa today.

To say i was amazed is an under statement. It is a flying machine and if i did not know better it stuck to the road like a scalextric car.
What an experience, ok, at first being in a left hand drive V6 flying machine, going around corners like as if the didn't exist was a bit hair raising but boy am i glad to have done it.

I cannot thank Stickyfinger enough, it was so nice for his help and to meet him and his dear mother. Fantastic day.

I am in debt to Stickyfinger for his help, coffee and the ride in the Activa.

I have had a couple of Xantias myself but the Activa is in another world.

Once again, many many thanks.

Do you know what Jim. I would love one as a toy but, I do not want to play with cars these days or have the facilities to do so otherwise it would be on my list as i was truly amazed at a 20 year old car would prove to be so much fun.

And people really slate French cars. Tie them in the seat and take them for a ride to change their minds i say.
I have not stopped telling people since my experience in Stickyfingers Activa. I should have videoed the ride.
