Hi,
Can anybody advise where I might find the airbag ecu please on the above van?
also does anybody have any constructive advice on how to put out the air bag warning light on these vehicles please?

You will possibly nee a CLIP ( Think Lexia for Renault) to put out the airbag light.
This may be controlled by the UCH which is like a BSI or Comms unit on a Cit.
There are a few discs around on the net Nigel that cover most models. I had one for Vel Sat and it did all newer Renaults......only about £3.
Tons of info in them, troubleshooting, parts no's, wiring etc.

thanks for your answer, it seems that Renault info is a little sparse online.
I've found the ecu in the same place as the Xantia one in the centre consul.
it is very similar to the Xantia ecu so I'm going to have a go at disabling it completely
as I have done in my Xantia. unfortunately I am not allowed to divulge how to do this on this website.

unfortunately we discovered that the head gasket had blown when we went to collect the Kangoo so we returned it to the previous owners
who said they would refund us once the reg docs were returned to them. They intend to sell it on anyway.
so watch out for a yellow Kangoo for sale in Oxfordshire, it may have lots of oil in the water bottle.
