Another illustrator to add to Thierry Dubois and Jean-Luc Delvaux which I came across today is Francois Roussel, whose illustrations appear in Gazoline magazine.

....and there's loads of images from Francois Roussel in this montage on you tube. Mostly French Cars of course but some SAAB 96's, and the odd classic British cars sneak in :)

All over the news today....

Going to be the first new car to be produced in Wales since these

Interesting comment from the Aston Martin Chief Exec "We are in the luxury business first, the automotive business second..."

It will be a fantastic achievement to bring the new range planned into production. The car will start off as a petrol vehicle before being developed into a hybrid and all-electric 4x4.

You have to permit yourself a small cringe at stuff like this though :)
The design team had in mind a driver who was a young woman, American - and rich. The fictitious customer was dubbed Charlotte and seen as "an attractive lady, cool, in her 30s".

Mmm the real driver may well be American and will certainly require wealth, but will be a man, balding with middle age spread, he will be uncool and trying to compensate with a nice Aston. His name? Trevor.......................or Lionel................ Over 60.
