Thanks Jon,
Bit too French for me, alas I could not find what I'm searching for.

This is what I'm after
'There is a French Activa group on Yahoo, activaclub. In the photo section there are instructions for making an electrovalve indicator out of an old dashboard switch. This has three led's two for the hydroactive valves and one for the Activa valve which light up when these valves operate, very neat. The instructions are in french of course! but I think it's possible to work it out from the pictures and judicious use of an online translator!!! A project for the future I think.
There also appears to be some stuff about a fault in the suspension ECU, a pair of diodes which fail leading to being stuck in hard mode. A repair also seems to be outlined.'

Sorry,
You have to go on to the french Yahoo groups server, this link will take you direct to the group.
http://fr.groups.yahoo.com/group/activaclub/
In the Photos section, the bit about the Suspension Computer diodes is in the Technique>Calculateur_suspension
The bit about the indicator to show when the suspension switches between hard and soft modes and, in the case of the Activa, when the anti-roll kicks in, is in the Files section. Fichiers > Retour_experience > Suspension The file is Visudiode.pdf
There's a lot of Xantia related stuff in here, not just for the Activa, have a poke around. The LPG conversion info for the Activa Turbo looks interesting if ever I'm flush.
If anyone is able to do any translations, we'll all be very grateful...

I haven't been on it for a while, but it used to be of limited entertainment. Judging by the lack of posts, it doesn't seem to have improved.

Hi,
You can get the page translated using http://www.altavista.com/ and follow the translate link. It's a bit ropey, but it more or less gets you there.

Translation. THis is a system for fitting three leds into a hazard warning switch to tell you which valves are currently operational on your Activa. There follows extensive dismantling of the car
(Airbag and wheel off etc. etc. etc.) to install it. Seems like too much work for what you are getting to me, Bernie.

Yes Tom from what I can make out there's a lot of good info, pdf's pictures etc, but not much bread and butter stuff.
So you can stand down.
