I'd almost go for an electric Berlingo...
Yes its PSA, and its electric but its not a Berlingo.

In the 8 years of its production it was anticipated to sell 100,000 units, but only 6,400 were sold.

Spot on James =D>

Came across it via the outfit who were putting the electric motor into the HY van.
They offer an upgrade, if you can find an old 106 electrique lying around.

Electric Pug 106?
Edit. Hey look there was another page. Oops.

We ran a few of these at work for a few years, were nice little things to drive I thought and never had any range issues for around town work - when people bothered to plug them in anyway!

The petrol fired heater was brilliantly effective and warmed up in next to no time I do remember.

CITROËN xxxxxxx : A FREE SPIRIT

The xxxxxxxx is a vehicle connected to the history of the brand but with its sights set squarely on the future. It is a wink to an iconic vehicle, the 1968 xxxxxxxx, but also far more than that: it is a cheery, all-electric 4-seater cabriolet with modern, fun styling. Through this new stage of its partnership with the Bolloré Group, CITROËN is confirming its ambition to bring to market cheery, optimistic vehicles that are different from the rest.

far too easy for a proper whatsthisthen? but a first production vehicle of its type for Citroen if you care to ignore the rebadging of a Mitsubishi.

There's also this from the same stable

It's a Peugeot boat car, which was actually just for publicity and could not float.

There's nothing like a novelty, so this is a first for a whatshisthen?
A whatsthisthen without a picture of a car or a bit of a car.

This is the description
