Xantia sill end plug

Unread post by Stickyfinger »

Hi guys.....well the JetWash removed it.

I have now a oblong hole with expanding foam filling [? the rear of the sill opening] and what looks like a rubber "sticker" that covers it. (the remains of)

Both my donor cars are missing them as well so I don't know what they are/look like/fit.

Anybody got photos ( I cannot find on CitService)

Cheers chaps

could be, but I only have remains for something that has then been stuck on with sealant/adhesive.

Zero rot inside and everything good/clean/original and even blue paint :)................I think its water it is not used to and it has just washed off :)

EDIT:

Found it on Citroen service

Yep, exactly that part. Mine is still there, but they rot/perish/become brittle, terribly.
Mine was missing when I got my car, so I scavenged one from a breaker at the time (took a lot of searching to find one still intact!)

I didn't realise they were still available!!!

Will have to get one! :D

I need one too... It has big hole in it. I removed mine, wrapped it in plastic sheet and replaced it... Been fine for a year or so now...

If they come as six-pack it might be a good idea to consider a forum group buy ;)

Well it's only 3,60eur/piece, so not that much... The production price is in my opinion is less than 0,10 eur/piece  I know because we make some plastic products in my company (well not mine but where I work  ).

Picked mine up from the pug dealer yesterday.
When I ordered them, the pack size was described as "PL" which the parts guy said he'd never seen before, so didn't know what it meant. He said he'd order and see what turned up...

A bag of 5... For £2.91 + VAT :D

I'm gonna use 2 and keep one spare. Who wants the other 2?
