Hi Alasdair - must be possible because the Auto DAB and Easy DAB systems are sold by Citroen and interface with the existing systems - although not if you have the navigation system fitted (Navidrive 3D NG4 for sure). Links:

Re: C5x7 wheel controls
Are they not add ons to the existing radio/system going via the CD port on the radios ?....I am talking controls to a replacement head unit but still allowing wheel button use..

Re: C5x7 wheel controls
To the best of my knowledge, no ... something about CAN complexity ... i.e. they never managed to make a radio interface (Dension among them) for the myWay (RNEG), while other units have their BT/USB devices (but not all) ... what is it that the PSA engineers cooked up, I never figured out ...

Re: C5x7 wheel controls
I've got Kenwood HU and wheel controls work. It's Incartec´s 39-LS2-QUAD. That wire kit has parking buzzer, but you don't need that if you use Lexia and "remove" original HU with it. Then parking buzzer sounds come from the speaker in the dash (same as indicator and other warning sounds
Not all buttons work for aftermarket HU (list for example), but volume, skip track and mute work. And you can still adjust settings that are displayed in the original HU's screen with wheel buttons (clock and so on).

Re: C5x7 wheel controls
So basically, you have an interface which "borrows" some of the wheel button inputs, basically, a hybrid ...

I think this would do: http://incartec.co.uk/pages/Product.aspx?P=3335
You also need patch lead for your new HU, it costs only couple of pounds. The more expensive lead with parking buzzer (49-PGA-PDC) isn't worth it, because buzzer in it doesn't work 100% as original, and it's very easy to make buzzing come from dash speaker with Lexia.

I've got this fitted in my X7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-C5-C8 ... Sw3ydVmoI~
You'll also need a patch lead specific to your head unit for about £3 and a radio adaptor lead which is another £4-5.

Re: C5x7 wheel controls
Great.....thanks guys it is good to see they have them now.
Another good reason not to have inbuilt SatNav with an older car but they took their time and cost as much as the head unit

Re: C5x7 wheel controls
I've got this kind of antenna adaptor because my X7 has got dual antenna:

Don't recall for sure whether those fakra connectors are joint or not. I think they might be separate... Stock HU might be with single antenna also, so you should check it before ordering anything.
