A bit more polishing............but not really very happy
Image

I was planning on having it anodised however there is so much slag in the casting I am finding it hard to get a blemish free surface.
Any craters will ruin the finish and some are very deep so as to be a bit of a worry if I dig in to far to clear the contaminant.

So that then leaves me with either as is, polished as best I can get ........................or a paint / powder coat finish.
That could be chrome, a silver or a matt-Black wrinkle finish.

?? your thoughts

As well as tuning the engine you could (with clever use of the right valves) tune the exhaust! Imagine a V6 Activa blasting down the motorway to the automotive notes of "Ride of the Valkyries"!

When my Great Uncle Jim (and his friend, Nigel) had to turn a road car into a racing car within a fortnight, they (amongst a lot of other things) polished the airways (in and out of the engine). What they ended up with was a vehicle that, while it wasn't great on cornering, generated a LOT of wheel spin off the line, and then came third in class. I have the article available.
