Time Warp 405

Had to be the most underrated car of its day.

Now if only the 405 had hydropneumatic suspension it would have been perfect but in a way it was available in the form of the Citroen BX which shared floorpans and many mechanical bits as per the Xantia and 406.

IT DID HAVE ! That was the unique part of the 405Mi16x4.Along with the 4x4 system with LSD front and rear it had "active ride" rear suspension.

Ahh yes of course!!! I remember now on another forum someone with and Mi16 405 asking what the green balls were all about!!!

14 hours for a clutch job.... Gosh!

Scrap the Mi16 and put the engine in a BX, a much better method

Thanks for that. but why is it so complicated? I`m not on photobucket or what ever? is this sort of thing a more secure way of doing things.?
On other forums all I do is upload one of the images stored in my computer with two clicks of the mouse.

It saves on bandwidth for the forum and also space on the server, it is a very common method.
In fact I have never encountered a forum that doesn't employ this method.

Photobucket, Imgur, Flickr!, Google Images, TinyPic, Imageshack and more are all free hosts (up to a certain limit which I have yet to approach).
Microsoft probably have one too, if you use Windows.
Your ISP will usually provide a free hosting service too.
There are others but I haven't used them.

A lot of the modelling sites accept images of limited size so they do not loose all the history in the threads.
It is a more "visual need" however
