MOT test results

Unread post by xantiagreen »

Wondering if the results for the xantia are good/bad or average, would give me an indication as to whether the V power nitro+ I've been using for the past 2 years is the reason for the good/bad/average results, I am going to start adding mineral 2 stroke from today and then see what The results are from MOT.

Is this a decent enough brand..

Yes that's good.
If your test says "fast pass" they've only done a simple test because it passed well. If it doesn't fast pass you get more tests recorded. Yours was 0.14 of an allowed 1.50 on the smoke density.

Most of the 'smoke' you get from the exhaust is actually soot laying in the exhaust system, if you give it a good thrash on the way to the test it will blow most of it out.
