Captain's log Stardate 27.11.04

86 year old Doctor in West Sussex bought a CX 2.5 Turbodiesel 18 months old in 1986. Being a doctor, he had it kept very well and loved it. His doctor told him that it was time to pack up driving which was a shame, because he not only loved the car, having grown up on Tractions (No, Mike he wasn't an orthopaedic surgeon!)but he had just had fitted aircon to it.
Alas he had to sell it. so WBM bought it for me for Christmas. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
Suppose I'll edit my profile. Just as soon as I calm down.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

cool, great xmas present (presume wbm is the other half?). I have visions of finding a visa gti that someone bought new and fitted a 1.9 16v into like me but turbo charged etc. Oh and they kept it in a heated garage with a dehumidifier system all its life heh. I have also updated my profile as I got a new car a week ago :)

My pals peugeot 405 just stripped all its teeth off the clutch drive plate, its just sits there and goes "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" now when you let the clutch out, oh well off to the scrapper for it, he only paid 50 notes for it.
