new to the forum but not to French cars

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hi, been a 2003 Clo Dci 80 owner for 3 years 70mpg and reliable 103K

Just bought a 2005 C5 1.6 Hdi, thats doing 60mpg !! best ride ever and Ive had Jags !!

things to do on the C5, full oil flush service (Forte) and blank the EGR. Other forum has said not to map it so will take their advice, was going to add 20hp

Hello and welcome.

From what I know, a removal of the oil feed banjo/micro filter to the Turbo, cleaning of the sump (remove) & pick up......and cut in HALF the oil change intervals would maybe be better jobs before removing/blanking of the EGR.

Blanking the EGR will throw EM Faults with that engine without a re-map.
