Renault Laguna Dynamique tom tom 2.0 DCI 130

Unread post by howiedean »

Hi,

I've just purchased a 2010 Renault Laguna Dynamique tom tom 2.0 DCI 130 sport tour, has anyone here got any experience of this model?
Sadly I could not find a suitable Citroen to replace my Citroen C5, the 1.6 HDI is a nightmare and the 2.0 HDI was not available at the price and mileage of the Laguna.
I was surprised how nice the engine is to drive, plenty of power and nice cruising in 6th gear.

Regards,
Howie

My wife and i ran a 2.0 dci 175bhp tourer for two years without any problems , great engine with plenty of power .Only minor niggle was the slightly hard ride. I'd have another one in a flash over any equivalent , a nice initiale model is very tempting but i have also been looking at the coupe .

The spec of the Laguna is very good for the price, I didn't want to go back to a car with springs but sadly I'll have to....
I also like the idea of an engine that has a timing chain. I believe that the Mk3 Laguna is a good car compared to the previous models, fingers crossed......

We had a couple of laguna 2's which were good cars but the 3 was quite a step forward and as you say with having a timing chain no worries . Tbh ours was probably the best allround vehicle we've had with its combination of space ,style and performance.

Hi Mark,

Now I've picked up the car I'm really surprised what a good car the Mk3 Laguna is! Its done 52000 miles is in really good condition and cost £5250.

Quick question on the Laguna:

Mine apperars to have Xenon headlights and windscreen washers which are standard equipment although it doesnt have the auto level facility. Has anyone got any experiance or understanding on this subject?

No heated front screens on the Laguna 3 , fantastic cars and as you say great vfm. Had a 2.0dci 175bhp myself and regret letting it go .

there are two heated screen type buttons next to each other, is this not front and rear screens?
