The factory ones are pretty quiet and easy to remove/refit, I have a set if you need some.
BXs since 1993 built 1.9 TZD turbo, got a S2 Xantia estate, brilliant car! 2013, Xantia HDI LX 110 2000 new car with 122,000, l C2 HDI Rusty rocket, C3 Picasso HDI new to me.
I think I recall seeing a genuine set on ebay, maybe two days ago, and for a relatively low price (maybe around 30 GBP, 1 bid, or 2 at most), I'll try to track it down, if it isn't already gone

These ebay ones are the transverse across roof version, yup?
I was thinking that the slots in the roof are for in-line semi permanent ones? I think these would stay in place and so be more useful with then low cost, cross members if needed :/

I have the original factory trnasverse bars (not for sale!) but they are curved and IMO after-market ones (like Thule) are more practical because they are flat and you can get accessories for them. Daughter had a pair of the latter, much better for transporting anything large and flat (furniture, doors etc).
