Was that a jaguar xjs which got a xantia hatch rear end grafted on it? Sure I have read that somewhere.

I reckon Davie has a very good chance of winning the pints for that one :) , all the more impressive cos it looks like it came without any assistance from google :)

No Google [emoji4] I remember seeing it on TV somewhere, rather than reading it. I'm wondering if it was Jeremy Clarkson being silly on Top Gear again[emoji13] [emoji23] That may well be a wrong spy though.

I'm going to Google it now though[emoji48] [emoji2]

It's actually not bad looking. Anyone got a boot spoiler to put onto it to finish it off [emoji4]

I havent seen the car in person, but have seen it in a Jaguar club magazine. Knowing the construction of the XJ-S and Xantia, it is a remarkable achievement.

I think that I would have carried the black panel behind the side window all the way back to the hatch, to eliminate the slightly odd angle. He has actually cut that black panel slightly, as the original chrome trim is slightly curved with a jointing piece where it meets the lower trim strip.

I don't think that the Xantia tail lights are an improvement, perhaps the later spec XJS units would have looked better.

"Whatsthisthen" the green one on the left side.

I was so much concentrated on my "Point of Interest" H-Van :) that I didn't pay attention to the other one.

They are.. Sadly never seen these days except on very rare occasions... If all vans were done up like that the world would be a much lovelier place...
