For now I have used one of the horrid commercial sites (TinyPic) but here's my trucklet as of this weekend... Maybe it should be in the rat topic?

What a ripper Addo, you really are branching out on the marques. I'm impressed at the extent and enthusiasm of your collection.

...Not a classsic car spot but an unusual one for me today.....

A genuine U-reg car. When I first saw it i thought that cannot be a proper number plate. "U" 's are not used by the DVLA.

Yes but there was a tell-tale sticker which proved that it was a genuine bona fide registration.

It wasn't one of these, but the two vehicles do have something in common.

That blue Peel P50 was driven by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear, around the BBC Centre!

Well done James...The link was the Isle of Man original home of Peel Cars, and of "U" registration cars.

I like a random link so lets run with it! The caption which goes with the image is

"The Isle of Wight Ferry-Faringford-1960" from "The History of Lymington"

but is it the same vessel as this.

built by William Denny & Brothers Dumbarton.

Vital statistics here

Probably a hillman minx coming off the ramp?

Another cameraless spot today and it may well have been an absolute icon of the breed. All I know is it was yellow, it was a cabriolet and it was a SAAB. I suspect it was a 900. The Saab 900 Convertible is an icon on its own, but the icon-within-the-icon is the Saab 900 Monte Carlo Yellow version of the car. Only just over 50 originally distributed in the UK-could I have seen one in Cramlington today?

....talking of SAAB's this is a very nice interior, of quite a stunning restoration, of a 1962 SAAB 95 van

It started out like this

and ended up like this

Even though its grey...its a definite head turner for me.

Shame those wheels are 5 pins :), they would look really good on the Activa :)

My best ever company car was this 900T , mine was a darker Anthracite grey...LOVED it but really wanted the Carlson version
