Chaps,
Posted this in the seemingly quiet Peugeot section yesterday, but then it dawned on me it might be suitable for Citroen too. Here's the original thread:

Would be very grateful to anyone who can cast an expert eye over the subject.
Thanks

Yes, some of us are very familiar with such kit - see my post here for instance http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... =7&t=53010" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Happy to answer any specific queries you have. You're not a million miles away from me either if you need hands-on assistance.

Re: Peugeot Diag 2000?
Thanks Mike. It looks like it's not suitable for the Citroens, and one of the chaps here has a Lexia clone now too, so I'll likely just stuff it on fleabay and see what I get. Not sure what I'd expect it to say if I plugged it into my BX..... "Erm, hello, I'm a BX ECU. That's all I can do?!"

I'd be interested in taking one of these at a fair price. Saves on fleabay fees. I've got a lexia2 workstation and i'm sure that one of these could be a source of spare parts. Looks v.similar to a lexia2 console. Drop me a pm.

Re: Peugeot Diag 2000?
Yes, they're the same ruggedised laptop inside as the Lexia. It's just the operating system on the hard drive that's different (and some of the keys in a different place) so I'd imagine all parts are swappable.
It may be possible to select a Peugeot equivalent of your BX (of same engine/ecu's) and get some comms going with it, can't hurt to try as long as you're sensible about any "changes" it can allow you to make.
