xantia 2.0 hdi estate
Hi All I've bought 2 new rebound blocks aka bump stops which I understood just required pushing into the holes and twisting, having done this the hard black plastic bit just wobbles about and looks as if it will fall out as soon as I drive the car, the old ones I had to remove with a pipe removal tool, anyone had this problem? many thanks Bill

'They all do that sir'
They do give the appearance of being about to fall out again but if you could feel quite a resistance when fitting them , 90 degree turn and they are in place, they should be fine. Mine wobbled exactly the same but they are still there 3 years later

Thanks for your reply electronmirror, I did notice that the old ones were put in with some sort of white mastic, I thought that might have been why they didn't come out easily, don't want to lose them as they cost £36 from main dealer but thanks for your help anyway.
