No cars are TRAPPED in dad's workshop, we have the keys & have been down a few times to check on the place. Chris had his G back weeks ago we went to wave it off. The only car in there, that does not belong to dad, is a gentleman's 2CV van he is well aware of the situation & was due to collect it today but due to the circumstances this has been postponed.

Sorry didn't mean to be disrespectful. I was concerned owners might complain without realising the situation.

Condolences to Malcolm's family from the Citroen Garage on Romney Marsh xx

I have known Malcolm since I was a child as he was a mate of my dad's (they had the love of Citroens and both worked at Whatlington Garage (Citroen Agency) together). I was sorry to hear that Malcolm was so ill and have followed closely on this forum, daily updates from his family. So sad that he has passed away.

I spoke to him a couple of months ago and he did seem in fine form - then he spoke to my husband, David Alstin (who also worked with Malcolm at Whatlington Garage - Malcolm always said that David taught him everything he knew!!) to ask him a bit of information and they were on the phone for an age (they both nattered far more than women ever do!!).

We shall miss the banter with Malcom and I presume that he is now fixing Citroens upstairs with my Dad again, with plenty of tea breaks :)

Bless you, Malcolm - enjoy !! xx

My condolences to Malcolm's family.

I never met the guy but I chatted a few times with him on here and found him knowledgeable and friendly. A Decent Chap in fact,

Highest compliment I can pay.

Very sad to see this has happened, and so quickly too. Malcolm was always one of the great wits on this forum and a genuinely helpful guy.

I've not been on the forum much lately and have been trying to catch up with various threads in the last few days and I'm finding it a bit eerie reading threads that are still being replied to that have been started by Malcolm or in which he has only replied a few posts earlier...

We should get a date today, the earliest appointment we could get at the registry office was yesterday & we could not proceed until we had the paperwork from them.

Hi Claire,
Have sent you a PM regarding car TV shows. I know it's the last thing on your mind at the moment so don't give it a second thought, just wanted to keep you updated.

I intend to make max effort to avoid anything that could prevent me going.......

I take it we will get there early, will all be bringing our Citroen's and will try to do something special to see him off in a way he would expect us to.
