Does anyone know if its possible to retro fit these into a lower spec model ? Ideally want an Executive or GLX but not many around in my budget, especially as I need an Estate.
Thinking of getting an LX and adding the above if its possible.

It wouldnt be worth it, Adding the climate control would be a headache for a start, For what you would spend out upgrading a LX you could have bought the GLX with it all standard in the first place.
Get a GLX, you gain ABS, rear electric windows, climate control, a better radio thats ready for a cd changer, electric mirrors, front fogs, rain sensing windscreen wipers.
Later GLXs around R reg gain the alloy wheels & alarm system.
The Executive will also gain you leather seats, electric front seats, standard cd changer, alloy wheels & an ultra sonic alarm system.
Leave the povety spec LX & get a GLX or Executive
