Nice work, but I can't tell if it's a politician or a record producer.

It is worse than that. It is a lawyer who got elected to Parliament!

That is an absolutely stunning work of art. All it needs is a little bit of saliva, chest movement, and eye movement to worry people!

That's pretty impressive work!

Now, what we need is to get someone with those painting skills together with someone who owns a decent 3D printer and knows how to use it, and you could make anything...

This one has just been completed by my good friend Danno out of New York USA......Danno BTW is a Steel Worker and an Ice Hockey Goalkeeper, and yet he can do this.
In this scale the figure works out to about 5 inches tall.

For me ?.....YEARS mate, I can't do figures well :(....But that one, I would think Danno took about two weeks worth of evenings (and a lot of paint drying time).

Because of the various layers and paint blending, most of the figure guys have 3 or 4 projects on the go at one time. Its when they paint pupils in a 3 inch figure and moan that they got the crossed eyes look a "bit" that makes me squirm at my figure skills.

I stick to metal stuff mostly but I struggle with 48th scale bees !
You cannot see them well but there is a fish under the water :) (made with layers of resin)

One I am working up atm...the anti magnetic mine coating is done by hand, with an epoxy filler and a sharpened screwdriver

But at times you cant see the job for the trees !

Well, that's tanks, wildlife and figures.....this is what the Wingie Thing makers get up to.

Based on a WnW kit which is a company run/owned by the Producer of Lord of the Rings btw.
This is in 32nd scale, so about 8 inch wing-span

My Great Aunt Sylvia used to do model cars, including painting the instrument panels. They always did look good. The shame of it is she is now going blind through Macular degeneration.

Why do people tend toward "action" items; stuff of excitement - yet it's an immobile display?

What about something like this?
