About disconnecting the battery:

Warning :
Before disconnecting the battery, partially open the door windows as they could break or damage the passenger compartment side upper trim if the doors are opened or closed (Vehicles with frameless doors)
Before disconnecting the battery, leave the tailgate or boot lid open (Vehicles with battery in the boot)
After the ignition has been switched off : Wait 4 minutes before disconnecting the battery to ensure that the programmed values of the various ECUs are stored
Using cloths may cause fluff to enter the hydraulic circuits - Use special lint free workshop paper or a chamois leather
