Possible fuse box issue?

Greetings everyone.

I have a 2.0 HDI Citroen C5 estate on a 58 plate. I have an issue with it going into limp mode every 200/300 miles. I've had the codes read, being P0409 (EGR Circuit A) and P1166 (Fuel pressure sensor). The EGR has been blanked but no success there.
The car will perform perfectly when everything is reset, but will suddenly return to limp mode after above mileage is achieved.
The only other thing I have noticed is that the boot door sometimes won't open on it's own, or shut. Has to be done manually, but this isn't very often. Also, parking sensors don't work and sometimes the electric handbrake switch takes a few pushes to release the handbrake.

The only thing I can assume is that this is a fusebox issue? Seems to be a regular occurrence?

Shoot me but:

If you just blank the EGR you will get limp mode as it stops the car "Regenerating" the DPF filter....Unless it has been re-mapped to remove that code:

Really? I've blanked the EGR on 2 previous peugeot's and 3 Ford's. All have DPF's and none of those have ever had an issue

Did they have such complicated ecu/engine management ?

The phase 1 facelift engine management is a lot more complicated than the old Mk1.
....however I am NO expert as I have never done it and disagree strongly with the practice.

May I ask why?

The EGR is a pathetic idea, used in the hope of generating more money for car manufacturer's. I recommend the removal of them on ALL vehicle's with a Peugeot engine with that being the likely cause of premature turbo wear.

They are the bloody devil.

Been over that issue on the site a good few times, so no real need to go deep into it, I imagine you can guess.

As for the issue, have you checked yours, a lot can re brought back to life if cleaned correctly.
If it works you may find the system will start to behave.
Has it been re-mapped to delete the EGR ?

Do you have a Lexia ?, if not you may struggle fixing this and other issues.
What level is the Eolys tank ?...I am wondering if the DPF is blocked or has been drilled out ?
