Thanks for the vote of confidence guys......

All washed and polished, all screws (mostly) replaced and final checks done. Underside checked and as yet (lol) no leaks

Just need to attach the spare wheel carrier (inside was poor with surface rust/out side almost perfect) once the Hammerite is dry.......(have to use the crap up somewhere not visible :) )

Just one problem/worry, I will not know until it is on the brake tester if the speedo works ...... 8-[

so, fingers and toes crossed till Friday 10.30 am, with luck I will next be posting an Image of the MoT guy sticking on the Activa badge

I wouldn't worry about the speedo. As long as it's complete and the needle actually moves a bit when it's on the rollers it'll pass. It says "inoperative" on the new rules but according to my MOT man the rollers don't really go fast enough to even move some needles.

Cheers Mike, that's one less Cider needed tonight :)

I hope the MoT guy just looks over and says....hey, you washed it's undersides as well so I will not get dirty, thanks...............Pass

The MOT man is likely to be more concerned with speedo illumination...

I believe speedo illumination is now checked on the MOT...

I prefer the front end as Citroen intended.... The car really looks stunning... The MOT tester will be dazzled!

Good man!!!!

Nice when testers are somewhat interested in the cars too!

Hopefully DVLA will pull their finger out and get it UK registered quick!

Well. that was neat, just been onto HMRC by phone to Reg a Imported Car and Pay no Tax.....nice Welsh Lady talked me thru it (NOVA declaration), so DVLA and HMRC (linked system) now has had the Citroen V6 Activa updated to/on their car lists....:)
(she said she had never done that part herself in the 5 years she had worked there)

So.....DVLA have to send (waiting 3 days now) a form and all should be good if I phone them about 5 days after posting it back......we shall see

Congratulations!

I was going to suggest that if it failed, you could send it back here

So when you have registered it, it should have its own line on howmanyleft.co.uk 8-)
