Seems okay for the age, MOT as well. Thought it was worth pl ugging until i noticed the tape over the stop light!


Anyone else seen people selling stuff like this that just makes you shake your head?

Would just be crap if someone were to buy it and then slag citroens off when the suspension and brakes go if theres a problem but the lights covered up!

Also asked if it's had a timing belt in his ownership.

It's not worth more than £300 anyway. Big miles, no AC etc, obvious fault with the warning lights covered. Possibly £250-300 or so for a timing belt kit fitted.

Hi. Thanks for your interest.

Funny thing was the light did used to come on and has been checked by Citroen specialist ( one of the top guys in the citroen club so there isn't much he doesn't know) and the hydraulics are absolutely fine and work well . The issue was with the sensor which I didn't bother with hence the tape. Although I've noted ( or shall I say my passenger has) the light doesn't come on now.

So in summary not an issue with the hydraulics .

I'm pooing it at 65k and none known, nevermind nearly 200k!


Edit: he's done 100k on a belt. Whats the recommended schedule on these?

The Berlingo got one at 85k. I ran my Mondeo 1.8 from 12k to 144k without a belt...

should be changed every 100,000 miles on this engine.
