Right, folks - started another thread here just to tidy it up.
We are agreed on Saturday 2:00 pm. Precisely where at the airport are we meeting, and how are we going to recognise each other?
Up to now, we have:
Yours truly - Dyane
Marty Hopkirk - ZX
Dave Bamber - Berlingo
Tom Sheppard - BX
Oilyspanner - ?
James - ZX
Mat - ?
Please add to list

Recognition.... Hmm.... Could it be the fact (im assuming) we will all be in Citroens Mike?
Or perhaps we should all carry a rolled up newspaper! HE HE HE!
Thought we were headding towards the museum (signposted Concord) Or perhaps I am wrong.

Saturday 20th @ 2PM
My wife still cant stop laughing at the idea of a load of Citroen drivers meeting up to discuss all things Citroen-y.
Her loss as I am leaving her the shed to play with whilst i bring the Xant! - Might even wash it first!

Follow the trail of LHM, look for bearded men, are we meeting at the Concorde exhibit or on the Vistor centre car park? suggest early arrivals find a bit of open space and park conspicuously, add me to the list.

Visitor centre car park, I suppose, that's where we'll have to park. I'll fly some sort of flag from the car's aerial (Red TZD Turbo Estate, K45 XRP)
Now: about stealing back Alpha Charlie on behalf of our two grateful nations...

Been relegated to the SHED.[:0]
Tried to encourage wife to come along and take number 1 son to have a look at the aeroplanes.... "So your only going to be about an hour are you?" she says... Well no, i replied and explained about Mike from Yorkshire and Tom from Portsmouth...
"Well there is no way your leaving me with that heap then (refering to......
Image [:)])
And thus starts the usual row over who drives what - the ZX is actually her car, but owing to the sheddyness both inside and out she never drives it, save for wednesday nights when she takes it to <s>Beiruit</s>Hoghton to do brownies.[;)]
So Im now going to have to wash it (inside and outside) - possibly reinsate the number 42 sticker and give it a darn good hoovering for the first time in 2 years... all before next Saturday.[:(!]

So sadly will be in the white wreck rather than the green goddess (sounds rather like a fire engine!)Image

Hiya Mike, plzz add one ZX to the list... [:)]
>>From Junction 6 on the M56, take the A538 towards Wilmslow. After about half a mile appears 'The Romper' public house on the left. Turn left here down Sunbank Lane, then right onto Wilmslow Old Road at the bottom, and follow the road to the gate entrance.<<
Visitors car park sounds fine, but is there only one? and how large is it?.. Maybe "The Romper" public house mentioned above would be better? we cant miss it coz its where we turn left..
November 20th at 2pm.. Its in me book.. [:)]

I'll be in the Berlingo, which is looking a little better for a wash this afternoon, the inside is still "interesting" as I ran out of daylight! I'll be there about 1.30, look for Postman Pats van, that will be me! J20 SDB

Okay, everyone, now we have some registrations. My car won't be a problem, as it will be the only Dyane on the car park. Image
However, this will only help if we are with our cars.
If we meet at the Concorde exhibit, there will be lots of others there, and we may not look any different from them! [}:)]
So, how about meeting at the 'Romper?'
I do have a beard, but no LHM leak!
Won't be in this - it is hibernating now. I'm the one on the right

Nice beard!
Nice cars too - good to have a face - this is my ugly mug
Image
Im the one on the left of course -
though i will be recognisable by the shed i will be driving.
Meeting @ the Pub sounds a fair idea - everyone else happy with this? (Whether we actually make it any further than the pub
will be open to debate).
Mike - presnetly bidding on this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... RK:MEBI:IT
thought it deserved a new home
(not a Dyane i know, but nice in its own ugly duckling sort of way).
