xm 2.1 bosch pumps

A question often raised.. will a xantia 1.9 pump work a 2.1 xm td engine...

Thats a pump i pulled out of the shed.. unknown condition.. stuck it on primed it up.. and thats what you see..

The pump is an interesting one.. theres no advance tube running fromt the front bottom to the top above the shaft.. so i still need to try one with the vac on it.. .. a small window for them too 1994 to 1996 only before the ecu controlled pump came along..

It came off a 95N.

Really neil?? Theres no vac pipe on it.. thats interesting. Ill have to try one of the other sorts..

It was either Nxxx GAT or Nxxx BEM. Can't remember which - but it did have 292k on it before the car dropped to bits around the engine.

Sounds bloody good though.

I am genuinly stunned by how much smoother and quieter this 1.9 pump is on this engine!
