Bloody gorgeous!!!

I've not seen such deep yellow yolks for years...

Just made a cheese and onion quiche with them.. Later I shall make a batch of custard..

They won't be around for long..

Lovely pretty blue shells too.. As I said yesterday I've never seen blue chickens eggs before, hence thinking they were duck eggs...

some will be waiting for your next visit....Its the thickness of the shell that surprised me....shows a healthy chicken apparently...compare to supermarket paper thin shells....makes you wonder what we eat .

I found that, firstly one rolled across the worktop and dropped into the sink without a crack and then I nearly broke a Pyrex bowl when I went to crack them into it.. I was tempted to go and got a cold chisel out of the workshop...

I agree about what we eat.. I have never felt so well since I started cooking everything I eat from scratch... I'm sure not eating anything processed has made a lot of difference to me... I even bake my own bread...

Meat and eggs are normally procured from our local butcher... Wish we had a local fishmonger...

Today I have baked a loaf of bread, cooked a fish bake (fish pie), stewed a batch of home-grown rhubarb and baked the aforementioned quiche... It takes a time but the results are 100% worth it...

Only very occasionally do I eat out and that's normally at Wagamama (Japanese) or sushi - I adore raw fish...

There is a Vietnamese restaurant in MK I rather like and a Caribbean one but those are for very special occasions only...

old friends taste nice ....a country boy...red in both tooth and claw...anyway, she stopped laying. These Cream Legbars are good, getting three eggs a day on average from 4 chooks...and they are 18 months now so a good year to go. Happy birds who have a free run as you see.

Mark up the hill and I had to go out the other night as next door lost one of their birds to a fox. There are hundreds about and hungry at the moment due to so many, we have about x10-15 in a Sq-mile, too many and soon they will get mange if they are not culled....and that is horrid and = very sad/painful/starve/death. Like Myxomatosis on Rabbits, horrid to see them suffer so much.

Three "Eco Warriors" from Bristol were caught the other night releasing Town Foxes into the country....bloody idiots don't know about Mange and that the town fox does not know how to feed itself in the wild...fools would try and cuddle a Badger.

Anyway, there are three less here now and after tonight I would hope anther 2 or three will go..

Maybe they will fit then Malcolm as my front has circular cutouts in the black DRL areas for fogs.. It all looks to be about the same size apertures as in the previous model..

So, we may have a deal...

also with the part No. of your bumper , you car comes back as defiantly C1 and not aC1 (B4) which the kit i have is for,
