Big lump hammers and Ratchet straps in bed ?.....what do you do
Well I try some riveting.......................in-scale, only a few 1000 to go
These are pressed out with a special tool and are 0.05mm btw and applied with a 00 brush using Future floor polish as an adhesive.
The tank is a Mk1 Male from WW1....in fact it is Mother, the first one made and uses double boiler plate pitch unlike the production tanks.....you got to get your rivet pitch right in this game and woe on you if you miss one !

Keeps the Lump hammer warm for tomorrow ?......I will not say about the straps
There are times however when you have to make your own tools.....
My version (that works) of a "Helping Hands" holder for soldering and gluing very fine items.

That's fantastic Sticky I have great admiration for those who can model... Anything less than 1:1 scale and I fail completely...
I think most of you know what I do when not playing Citroen but for those who don't...
I practice karate;
I adore cooking and baking;
I swim regularly, usually every weekday when I do a K a day except Wednesdays when I often do a mile;
I ride a bike for pleasure and fitness;
I play with vintage wireless and electronic stuff that has valves;
I indulge my love of Unix and Linux often via maintaining this forum.
The above, paid employment and a near-OCD approach to keeping me healthy and my house in order keeps me fully occupied...

I work in brass as well, at times you cannot limit yourself to one media if you need to get to a better detail level
