One for Pun night

This guy went to the doctor and said to him "Doctor....I don't know what's wrong with me, but every time I fart, it sounds like the word FGFFFFFur-HONDA".

"That's interesting, never heard of anything like that before. Do you think you could fart for me?" says the doctor.

The guy says "Sure." And sure enough, the doctor hears "FGFFFFFur-HONDA".

After several attempts to figure out what's wrong with this guy, the doctor runs out of ideas. He sends him to all sorts of stomach specialists and none of them can figure out why this guys farts say "FGFFFFFur-HONDA." It is a completely out of this world medical condition.

Finally, as a last resort, the doctors think they should send the man to the world leading Proctologist. After explaining the problem , the Proctologist bent him over looking up the guys bottom and examining it.

The Proctologist says "A-haa!!!!....I have found the problem."

The patient says "What is it? What is it. Please tell me doc".....

The Proctologist replies "Well, sir, you have an rectal-abscess."

The guy says "Yeah....so....What has that got to do with my farts?"

The Proctologist replies, "Simple Sir, .... Abscess Always Makes a fart go HONDA"

The lads playing cribbage in the corner enjoyed that one Sticky but they tend not to be too demonstrative, so its difficult to tell

I think one man and his cow is just the sort of entertainment that will go down well with the Pickled Egg regulars. Combine it with some guest Ciders and "Somerset Evening" has a good chance of bringing in the punters. Come to think of it there's bound to be a few caterpacks of well matured cheddar in the back of the fridge that could be cut up into little cubes, along with the remnants left of the "eclipse day" black pudding and a few silverskin onions and there's a ready made nibble for the bar.

This is the type of presentation which would be best, proper bar snack items, rustically assembled on a beer tray. The Pickled Egg doesn't do horses d'ouvres or canapes.

Does the Pickled Egg do a decent coffee in the form of a nice skinny latte?

That's my normal order when I'm in a pub and often I'm bitterly disappointed...

You may be out of luck Jim, the milk which the Pickled Egg normally uses is full-fat unfortunately

and the coffee would have to be Camp, so you may have to have a liking for chicory.

I remember those tins of milk from when I was a little kid Neil, and the Camp coffee..

I actually quite like it and years back I'd have it in preference to proper coffee.. Can you still get it?

Yes looks like you can still get it but probably in th "baking Ingredients" aisle cos there's not much coffee in it!

Might have stumbled on something there for the PE-even Tesco say its a firm family favorite when mixed with warm milk!

and for the deltic buff the officer in the "trademark Photo" is reputedly a "Gordon Highlander"

The Pickled Egg is traditional to its core so it should have come as no surprise to discover the skittle alley in the back room. But the entertainment doesn't stop there.

Wish Arthur hadn't worn his track suit for the photoshoot though.

but what's the game he's playing :?:
