From the still image of the OP video I remembered her straight away, but this song always comes first to my mind in relation to Edie:

I still have my first edition vinyl of Edie debut album. One of the best debut's ever. Apart from the folk rock leanings she had a tiny Janis Joplin element there too with her wailing hippy vocal imo. All Paul Simon vinyl here too. JJ is mostly here except for maybe last 2 albums. Lots going on musically with JJ.
Carpenters stuff is starting to sound legendary again for some reason? I think I am appreciating vocals more now than ever. I have been listening again to old Scott Walker stuff strangely. He could give a song the treatment and his style alright.

Along with Jazz, I am a big folk fan. Great artist and song here.
