Engine ECU reset?

Is there some way to reset or revert the Engine bay ECU on a citroen C8 2.2?
Its apparently not getting fuel and the problem is traced back to the engine ECU.
I do not have any sort of diagnostic device just a key and a car :S

I do NOT know if this will help, but it could be worth at least thinking about it. C series Citroens are much more electronically sensitive than previous cars, and (as a consequence) they can be more picky. I know this link is for the C5, but it could help out here;

Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure

We tried shorting them together and waiting but the battery ran out of juice before the car started.
Dropped it off at a garage an hour ago so hopefully they will find something with these fancy tools

Sounds more like a battery problem. If it ran out of juice after trying a BSI reset, it can't be up to much.
