Hi,,,,
any "clicking" ect to show if the motors are running >? does the window move at all ? I take it the rear switch is also not moving it ?
If none of the above, then you will need to test the motor
If there is life, then maybe a clip is broken or a cable, ........door card off to see, remember a sharp knife for the moisture barrier and good waterproof vinyl tape used for poly-tunnels (not gaffer/masking tape) to seal it up after.

How are you doing Sticky I pulled the door card checked fuses and there is a clicking but only when pushed down at drivers door the rear switch fell apart when i took it off.I,m getting nothing when i try to raise it.reassembled switch but its definitely kaput.Im useless at electrics so dont know how to test switch i did however check fuses and all check out. i have weather tape for liner
and im driving 70 mile round trip with polythene window is there any way of making motor work manually or by hot wiring the motor.im afraid of causing damage to data feed Oh by the way did a lexia scan and it says no data connection from passenger door rear or something to that effect.

Hi mate:
Ummm.....sounds like the motor, but hard to tell if not there......have to say unless its a bulb, I use a local mobile sparkie and either call them out or go to their offices/workshop. They have always been quick and a cost effective and never have that look of panic that most mechanics have when you say you need your "Electickery" looked at.
I never have thought dirty finger nails and old grease fits with modern wiring skill sets. That said, the C5 has easy wire layout...do you have the wiring diagrams to give to them ?

Do you have access to lexia ? you could try using lexia to put the window up. if not if you remove the motor (3 x T-30 screws from memory) it will expose the spline drive, you should be able to fit something in there to manually wind the window up assuming the drive cable is not broken or jammed.
