Timing Belt

Hi All,

How long does a timing belt kit store for

I'm thinking of buy one soon and doing the belt next year.

Thoughts please.

Stored with care I'd say they would still be good after ten years so buy now

My local autoparts are selling me with a Gates timing belt kit and water pump for 78 pounds, thought it was good price but was worried about storage.

Used Gates before and had NO problems in the past.

Long ago when I could be bothered to do timing belts for myself and friends, I used Gates on many vehicles. Never had an issue that I'm aware of.
