electrical problem

Hi,i have a 1.1ltr saxo and sometimes it hesitates on acceleration.What's yor opinion?I believe that the spark-plugs are worn(they have 23000 km)

Take them out and have a look at them. If they're showing signs of deterioration, replace them. They're not expensive

by all means try it, they are due for replacement. Check all the pipes around the engine for cracks and splits too. I reckon that it is more likely to be fuel starvation and (Pardon me, I am not familiar with Saxos) if it is fitted with a fuel filter, I'd start there. Assuming that the car is carburettor equipped, you may need to take it off and give it a good wash through with carb. cleaning solvent. (If you do this, the car may not run cleanly straight away, so drive it around for a day or two before fiddling with anything. A washed carburettor tends to run lean until it is "wetted " by fuel flowing through it.)Hesitation is often caused by loose or broken pipes altering the air/fuel balance.
