You can stop in here for a cuppa, as you would be driving past us 2 hours this side of Ronchamp. (Anyone want to test a new passport?)

My new passport is going to be tested in France in April Mike when Team WFA descend upon the Citroen Conservatory...

That's very cheap for a V6 Activa. What's wrong with it as it stands?

It has a "hydraulic leak". Which as you know is a broad brush, but could well be an activa ram (given that it is winter in a cold part of France).

Jim can you get a move on doing your v6 conversion, as I have a home for your tct turbo and gearbox. The 205 is going to get modified, 2.0 turbo with a manual boost controller and it will find itself going very fast at places like knockhill and Crail.

Hmmm, not sure I approve of a TCT in a nice, pristine 1.6 GTi Davie  The 1.6 is such a lovely little engine it seems a shame...

However, I can certainly reserve it for you  :-D

I found you another potential source of V6 Activa goodies.

I can't give a direct link, but go to:http://www.gpa26.com (click on "Passer l'animation" to skip the intro)
click in the 2nd tile on the home page,
then click on the third tile of that page,
then enter the number 143441 in the bottom left hand box of the search panel.

It is currently a complete car, but is in their queue of cars waiting to be dismantled, so I presume that you could pre-order any parts you need.

You could have stuff shipped here for safe-keeping.

As you can see from the photos, it is well beyond ecomonical repair :^o

Much progress to report.

I have acquired perhaps the most important part for the project to allow it to meaningfully progress. A complete S1 Xantia V6 donor :-D

The car is running but is suffering very leaky camboxes and other issues that have conspired to make it beyond economic repair for the owner...

The project now really starts...

It surely does Mark. I expect this thread to now become very active...

First job for this project now is to fully clear the garage and attic of unwanted stuff to make space for the breaking of the donor and the stashing of bits..

I also need to make ready the workshop for a full engine overhaul before it goes into the Activa...

I feel there will be loads of pictures posted too...

One thing my V6 Activa is going to have is cruise control... It helps that I already know my Activa has all the wiring in place for it...
