Lovely, when I was in the motor trade I worked at a showroom with yellow lines outside and the hawk eyed wardens would soon swoop on any cars left on the lines.
It used to give me great pleasure to park unregistered new cars on the lines and watch the wardens come piling in and then realize they couldn't issue a ticket!

Are the wardens in question just numpties or are they doing it for the crack and comedic effect and to irritate their bosses?

I'd like to think and believe it's the latter...

The warden was certainly on one. :rofl2:

He thought the bin was looking at him the wrong way.

So he thought I will have you!

The sign says do not ignore.

Well in this case there is no driver to pay attention to the warning, but because the traffic warden put it on a bin, it is now getting more attention than it would have received/attracted had it actually gone on a car.

If you follow this through  as a wheel clamp would not fit the bin, then they would have to lift it, and take it away.

It's amazing the amount of work that is required to get your bin moved, emptied normally, so is this warden trying to wind a trader up, or help out a mate, while making him/herself look like a right plonker?
