Hi,
I need to this as one of my relatives 307 sw 2008 stinks horribly. I tried to change the pollen filter no help at all.
Does anyone know a way of cleaning this without the whole dash out?

Wondering if one of those a/c cleaning aerosols would do the trick? They're supposed to get rid of bacteria and longs.

I've head that a Dettol spray does the trick - not standard Dettol but the clear kitchen cleaner stuff.

Re: 307 evaporator cleaning
It's worth trying the aerosols, I've found them to help in the past. The 107 seems to get smelling quite "musty" about once ever six months, and that always seems to sort the problem.
...Worth checking it's not something silly in the car though. I had issues with a horrible mouldy, musty smell in the car once - it turned out to be a pack of veg which had slipped out of a shopping bag and down the back of the boot out of sight! ...Only took me three months to find!
