Or maybe a full-blown Yakuza?

My youngest daughter has a huge 'vine leaves' tattoo over the whole of her back and shoulders with Gandalf in the middle.
She is impervious to pain.

That's a nice tat Steve, it would suit a Welsh Citroen owner a treat :-D

How about this one that Dr Clare D'Alberto, a zoologist, sports on her back...

The page contains other tats of a scientific nature...

Mine won't be scientific...

I'm OK with pain, I get enough of it during karate training... Got a lovely split lip on Friday...

I'm more concerned at how long I'll have to lay off swimming for when I have the tat done...

About a fortnight I think Jim, varies with individual healing rates.

Good on you Jim.

I'm also having another one, taking up most of my upper right arm/shoulder.

About two weeks for the swimming.

Upper arm doesn't hurt so much. Like being scratched a lot, quickly, by a kitten. Now, when I had under my nipple and on my ribs done.... that's a different level altogether!

Thanks both for the fortnight... That's a long time for me to not swim but I'll cope...

Mike, anything involving ribs seems to hurt  I'm forever getting kicked or punched in them and so they always hurt these days...

Still, if I will go out fighting on a Friday night...

I've always thought the V6 didn't change so much as the other engine Xantiæ from S1 to S2. It kept the odd wiring in the wheelarch, for example.

Re the skin art - have you thought about a coal tattoo? :P

I seem to have twisted one on the left side, about halfway down. Likely due to my slouch position on night shifts. If I sit bolt upright, it's ok, but if I allow any compression at all on it, it hurts. I need to lie down, arms by my sides and rest it well for some time I think.

I'm going to get my tongue pierced as well. I've always had a fascination with it. Never got round to it. Doesn't, I'm told, hurt any way as near as you might imagine. Uncomfortable to eat for a week or so, but I could do to do that anyway.

You could possibly get away with a 100bhp shot but more faff and you'd still need a remap as there is no way the ecu would be able to cope with that.

Super/turbo charged V6 with Nitrous Oxide and a Cray supercomputer for the ECU?

You'd probably get away with it if you had an extra injector fitted which dumped a load of fuel in when the nitrous operated, without a modded ECU, but it's a lot of work for relatively little gain. I looked into this to get more power from my Saab 900 T16, and it was just a nuisance. It's not as though you can even use the nitrous all the time either, as you'll simply empty the bottle. In the end, I had an extra 55bhp out of it simply by fitting larger injectors, a better fuel pressure regulator, and turning the fuel, boost and boost rise rate up.

I have feeling that a dedicated thread in the activa section should be created... Maybe one for discussing the process and then one for the process and a list of what's needed? Helps make it easier for future converters and such?

As a side note would an ecu from a pug not do the job?
