Now the immature schoolboy in me did spot this half way down
"Titisee" in the Black Forest must have been chosen as a stop off point for its comedy innuendo qualities.Below L to R: July 22. On the way to Titisee in the Black Forest. Buddhist monk from Nepal in Titisee with Ghislaine and Edmund Nankivell. The well-restored Jupiter of Heinz Bolliger driven down from Switzerland (150km) to join is for the evening.
Definitely a nice pair here

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I also speak Swedish and similar thing arise quite frequently in that language and pass completely without notice or comment.
Example
Swedish swipes most of it's words from French and German - partly due to the Royal Family being essentially French.

They could have gone to a village in Austria I suppose.. The one where they get fed up with tourists nicking the village sign all the time.
You might say they are pretty much f***ed off by the whole affair really...
This is the place... Caution: NSFW and may offend...

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Fail Jim - the nanny removed the naughty word and replaced it with expletive removed.
"There is no Expletive Removed in Austria"
I frequently see it on buses and lorries from Austria though.
You might try this instead - change of name.
There's one in Australia too, where they nick the signs as well.
There's also this that I recall from an Esther Rantzen program some years ago.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Thanks Steve That did fall on its face a bit didn't it
Thanks for the new link, it does mention the other place, the one I was trying to refer to, the one in Upper Austria
I used to live adjacent to a road called Titty Ho in Raunds, Northants years ago. Famous for it's classic car dealership - The Titty Ho Motor Co.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Alright then for those members from the West Country I am prepared to offer this although looking closely at the Top Deck can looks like it was the limeade and lager of choice for her majesty the Queen Elizabeth II herself!
