That little Austin 8 is a plucky little thing but it looks like it already needs new shock absorbers going on how bouncy it is.
more like he needs his disks tightened or the wood has swollen.....ouch

If you made it through to the end-credits of the little Austin 8 film, this was the summary of its trip.

Image

Even if you stuck to the tarmac, and didn't bother driving up the mountains on rocky paths like the Austin did it would be a fair test today.

The Austin did have the benefit of running on "Rubery-Owen" wheels

Haven't been to one yet, the pics come from reading about the Austin 10 on good old wiki, and then linking through to the article about "Tillies"

Struggling for an interesting "10". There are plenty of pre-war 10's but quite similar in type, and only Regie as far as I have found out so far, produced a more recent "10", and to my eyes is pretty dull.

The Bristol sneaks in with its V10 engine, not a common configuration, although Audi and VW have used a V10 in some models.

How about a BSA A10.. I know it's not strictly a car but a bike or two will be nice in this thread :)

Yes that counts for me Jim you can't beat a bit of chrome on the fuel tank, and I do like the BSA names.

Course they were a bit more boring naming their cars. This is a BSA 10.....

In general it would appear that the number 10 is difficult to link with interesting cars
