C5 Injector seal

Post by ej2095 »

Hi all have a c5 hdi 2.2 with the top right (drivers side) injector blowing.

Tightened it up a bit and it went a little quieter as sounded like a tractor lol.

How easy are these to remove and stick a new copper seal on?

If you are lucky!

There was a problem with early ones sticking in the head - result - scrapped head :(

Had mine out a few times when i did the engine swap. They came out no problem in both engines.

The longer you leave it the harder it will be to remove as the coal like carbon builds up.
