Until they stick on the next time you are on an incline and you pull away without noticing and cook your disks and pads..... only way is a rebuild or new calipers, it will haunt you otherwise :taz:

a new car SF
this one has done me proud! 3 years, about 40K, and only cost £600 to start with.
and what a life, pulling old boats around, carrying wine, wood for the fire, and many trips to Europe and Somerset and Newcastle - all in all many happy memories
and I have learnt that one injector can cause cold start issues and easy start for 10 months and only cost £20 to fix ;)

and averaging 45mpg I would wager..with my driving style ;)

I was about to say my best car ever, a C5 HDi 110 .. but the v6 406 coupe and more so the V6 Xant hold a special place ;)

(I am only saying all this as it feels -4C outside for the first time, after a very good year, and the idea of fixing any part of a car is just off the menu) !

With value like that I can almost hear the Scotsmen crying - they've been trumped by someone south of the border.

;)

saying that I don't want to do anything to the car.. . I have an empty workshop and a strange desire for a project .. something impractical, and I have ebay open

this is a bad sign..

Build a decent replica Tardis.

It will either sell to a geek for a good profit or attract Billie Piper. Both might be considered wins.

You might attract Jenna Louise Coleman, and that would definitely be worth the effort.
