Hi,
As title, I disconnected the battery in order to clean the terminals, and immediately afterwards the remote central locking stopped working - nothing happens at all with any of the key-fob buttons. The central locking works with the key in the door (however sometimes it locks then automatically unlocks which I believe is a broken wire in the door loom. I think this is unconnected to the main remote locking failure - am I wrong)?
Could the remote locking issue and battery disconnection be just coincidence?
Thanks!

You might need to re-introduce the remote to the car. IIRC put the key into the ignition, turn to position 'M', and then press and hold a key fob button.
