Good on him =D>

I harbour a desire to complete a marathon one day...

Don't know if I ever will though but it's an aspiration...

Got my tax reminder earlier this month so checked the "new" purchase options as I usually buy it online but now I have to sign up to a direct debit contract so I checked the option of buying at the PO and that stated I needed to produce a current MOT certificate (which I couldn't find). However, I since learnt that wasn't strictly true (I guess they can check online) as I bought it over the counter with just the reminder.

Mum ran the London marathon in 2000, and managed to complete it despite both knees trying to let go. She encountered another runner close to the finish (with a couple of miles) who was also struggling (and not sure if she could make it), so Mum and she ended up supporting each other the rest of the way. Their finish time was about 6 and a half hours.

It's recently been espoused (by the McKinsey Institute) that the global cost of obesity exceeds the fiscal damage of war and terrorism. Where are the thousands of "slacker cams"?
The Register has some wise words to say about that.

She is, even though she does not think so. She had to put up with me for several years, for a start!

I don't know about that, where I live on the whole I don't see that many 'blob-shaped' Aussies. Not wishing to offend but I saw many more when I visited the USA.

What a hero. Once again I applaud you. =D>

I went to Alabama and Pittsburgh, and apart from my tiny brother in law I was the smallest bloke I saw in the blob-shaped stakes.
