That Roller looks awful in any colour but especially so in brown
Positively appalling....

A Peugeot 203 this time in Cabriolet form, purple and cream very nice, (good antidote to the brown roller for you I hope Jim!)
Even an Auto Union 1000 S Coupé 1960 looks good in two tone paint

The top end of the car market certainly doesn't shy away from a bit of two-tone, and isn't afraid to open the brown paint tin from time to time

There were three absolutely gorgeous two-tone Nash Metropolitans at the NEC Classic Car Show today...
Shared a stand with another gorgeous car of the era, an Austin Atlantic convertible...
Today proved to me just how I adore orange cars There were plenty on show.
I reckon a Xantia would look good in orange...

Hardly high end, nor two-tone, but I was interested to see a Focus yesterday in what looked suspiciously like the much-maligned Saluki Bronze. The wheel of fashion completes another revolution!NewcastleFalcon wrote:The top end of the car market certainly doesn't shy away from a bit of two-tone, and isn't afraid to open the brown paint tin from time to time

Is this what "Saluki Bronze" looks like in the rough on a markII Cortina?dnsey wrote: Hardly high end, nor two-tone, but I was interested to see a Focus yesterday in what looked suspiciously like the much-maligned Saluki Bronze. The wheel of fashion completes another revolution!

Well I think the Nash Metropolitan needs to make an appearance here this time without the assistance of Craig Revell Horwood and Anne WidecombeCitroJim wrote:There were three absolutely gorgeous two-tone Nash Metropolitans at the NEC Classic Car Show today...

One for JIm this is the Austin Atlantic Convertible owned by some bloke in Australia in orange no less
is this close? ( with the Vinyl roof it almost qualifies as 2-tone for the thread)
regards Neil
My curiosity is going to have to look up "Arizona Gold" nowcitronut wrote:yep sure is Neil the oposite end of the colour range from Arizona gold

Very good Steve You're well on form tonight!!!myglaren wrote:All this 2-tone stuff is madness.
Neil, thanks for the orange Nash and Austin Atlantic Lovely
I love that MKII Cortina in Bronze with the brown vinyl roof. So 70s and so cool
I used to have a 1978 (T-plate) bronze Renault 5 in a shade called Marron glacé. It was a deeper bronze than the Cortina
Although it's a Norev model, this was almost the exact car I had. I guess all the real ones dissolved before any pictures of them could be taken
I really want to see a picture of an orange Xantia in the same shade as that orange Nash

Jim -
I was about to post up the "seats" from the car you linked to, thinking thet the No-rev was a proper "model" name used on the 5 by Reggie himself.
but no its a literal Model.
Seats look a little hard
